Gold Medal Swimmer Visits BA Swim Team

Meghan Raab, a gold and silver medal winner on the current PanAmerican swim team, was a recent guest coach of the eagles swim teams. Ms. Raab conducted a clinic focusing on streamlines. Streamlines are what swimmers do immediately after pushing off the wall or diving in. Raab is a 2018 graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in journalism and sports media and a member of the 2016 NCAA championship swim team. As a member of the USA Pan American Swim Team this past summer, Meghan earned a gold medal in 4×200 free relay and a silver medal in 200 free at the games in Lima, Peru. She holds four individual Pennsylvania state high school swimming records—200 free, 200 IM, 100 free and 100 back. Meghan is the daughter of BA teacher and swim coach, Jamie Raab, and sister of Allie ’18, Shannon ’20 and Luke ’24.
