True college preparedness starts long before senior year, so our educational workshops begin in 8th grade and continue through 12th, allowing students to engage in self-reflection, find their passions, develop their minds and take charge of their futures.

College Advisory Board 2021-22

With the ever-changing and increasingly competitive world of college admissions, Brentwood Academy recognizes the importance of equipping students with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful both in high school and beyond.

Starting in 8th grade, students participate in educational workshops with increasingly more involved and individualized programming, so they can take the time to explore their abilities, talents, and desires for the future in a challenging yet supportive environment. The college office cultivates this process by offering individual and group meetings, visits with college representatives, SAT and ACT advice and assistance with applications, interviews, and scholarships.

BA’s college counseling staff values getting to know students, serving as a resource to parents, making personal connections with college representatives across the country, and ultimately assisting students in selecting a college that will allow them to reach their spiritual, educational and career goals.
