Well done to our Q4 Headmaster & Honor Roll recipients

Welcome to the Dens

Our unique campus designates each grade to its own "house," each centered around its own "den," where middle schoolers can enjoy time with one another during breaks and foster a sense of community with peers in their own grade.

Block Scheduling

The middle school academic day operates on a modified block schedule. Most classes in this program are 85 minutes long and meet every other day throughout the school year. Semesters are divided into two grading periods (quarters) each and include midterm and final exams. Students participate in exploratory and elective courses in addition to core academics.

Courses offered include: English, history, science, mathematics, world languages (French, Latin, and Spanish), arts, drama, band, vocal music, leadership, robotics, life skills, and Bible.

  • Christian Life

Although Brentwood Academy is not affiliated with any church or religious denomination, the mission of the school is rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through devotions, assemblies, Bible studies, retreats and service opportunities, our middle school students, faculty and staff articulate the reality of this relationship with Jesus in their lives.

  • College Counseling

We believe that to be effective, college counseling shouldn’t wait until senior year. We provide educational workshops beginning in 8th grade and continuing through senior year with increasingly more involved and individualized programming, encouraging students to self-reflect, discover their passions, develop their minds and take charge of their futures.

"What a privilege it is to walk side-by-side with middle school students and parents in these exciting years of academic, athletic, social, and spiritual development! As Middle School Director, my goal for our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Brentwood Academy is that they each learn, fail, and grow in a setting where they are loved and known while constantly being reminded that they are uniquely made with immeasurable value by our Creator."
