Visual Art

The Visual Arts Program is a comprehensive curriculum that begins with introductory courses at the middle school level and advances through four years of fundamental development in the upper school. Art history and the principles of design are explored at each level through a wide range of media including colored pencil, chalk pastel, charcoal, watercolor, oils, and acrylic paint. Some classes include specialty media and methods including printmaking, mixed media collage, sculpture and ceramics, film and digital photography, and design using Photoshop.
