Dear Coaches and Parents:

I am honored to be the director of our Flight Basketball League for boys and girls in grades K-8. I am also excited to serve as the varsity boys' basketball coach at Brentwood Academy. I have spent 30 years working to improve youth basketball in Tennessee and have an extensive background in building quality youth leagues.

I am passionate about offering this program in an environment that is known for nurturing and challenging young people. There are many reasons why I believe we have a quality league here, including:

  • Central location
  • Affordable team fees
  • Commitment to work with and build relationships with coaches
  • Experience building championship programs

I hope that you will join Flight for the fall/winter season (November-February) and again next summer (June-July). Our goal is to make Flight the best youth basketball league in Tennessee.

  • How do I register a team for the Flight Basketball League?

    Coaches can register their teams online HERE. Please have the following information available:

    Team grade/gender
    Team name
    Name of each coach
    Email address for each coach
    Cell # for each coach

  • How do we pay for the League?

    Team fees may be paid in the online registration process by credit card or by check. There are no individual fees. Checks are payable to BA Flight Leagues and can be mailed to the following address:

  • When does the Flight Basketball League begin and end?

    The fall/ winter season starts on Saturday, December 7 and ends on Saturday, February 29.

  • Will you have a summer league?

    Yes. The summer season runs from June 15 - July 23, 2020.

  • Will there be separate divisions for the good teams and the "middle of the road" teams?

    Yes. Once a division reaches 10 teams, then the teams will be separated into Gold (upper) and Silver (lower) divisions.

  • Where will the games be played?

    All games will be played at Brentwood Academy, which is centrally located in Brentwood, just outside of the Nashville city limits.

  • Can our team play "doubleheaders?" If so, what is the fee?

    Yes, for grades 3-8. We will have a “doubleheader option” for teams for a fee, as long as we have space available.

  • Are jerseys included with the team fee?

    Any team that registers for the Fall/ Winter or Summer seasons will receive navy/ white reversible jerseys for their team.

  • Does our team have to wear the Flight jerseys?

    No. It is not a requirement for your team to wear our jerseys, but it would certainly be our preference.

  • Do you take scheduling requests?

    Yes. We do our best to work with the coaches on their specific scheduling needs each week.
