Dear Coaches and Parents:

Welcome to the Flight Flag Football League at Brentwood Academy! We have received several inquiries from parents and coaches about the league's status given the recent decision to cancel Flight Basketball at Brentwood Academy, and we are excited to announce the Flight Flag Football league will continue.

This opportunity is for teams of boys and girls in grades K-5. Flag Football will be a grade-based 7-on-7 league with all games at Brentwood Academy.  Flight Flag Football is a league that encourages nurturing and challenging youth, instilling life lessons through teamwork, friendship, and strong character.

Our program is designed to teach athletes the fundamentals of the game, and build confidence while promoting dedication and teamwork in a fun environment.

Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I register a team for the Flight Flag Football League?

    Coaches can register their teams online HERE. Please have the following information available:

    Team grade/gender
    Team name
    Name of each coach
    Email address for each coach
    Cell # for each coach

  • How do we pay for the league?

    Team fees will be paid during online registration by credit/check card. Coaches will be responsible for registration fees for their teams.

  • When does the Flight Flag Football league begin and end?

    The Fall 2022 season starts on Saturday, August 27 and ends on Saturday, October 29.

  • Will you have a Spring league?

    Yes, Spring Flight Football League 2023 details are TBD.

  • Will there be separate divisions for the good teams and the "middle of the road" teams?

    BA Flight Flag Football League is designed for competitive teams and each team will play all other teams in their division. All divisions will be grade based.

  • When and where will the games be played?

    All games will be played on the Brentwood Academy varsity football field or the varsity practice field on Saturdays.

  • Where will teams practice?

    All teams will be responsible for securing their own practice locations and scheduling the same with their players.

  • Are jerseys and flags included with the team fee?

    Any team that registers for the Flag season will receive up to 10 red/white reversible jerseys for their team. Flags will also be provided to coaches at the coaches’ meeting and flags will be returned to Brentwood Academy upon completion of the season.

  • Does our team have to wear the Flight jerseys?

    Yes, all teams are required to wear the Flight jersey. 

  • Do you take scheduling requests?

    We will do our best to work with the coaches on their specific scheduling needs.

  • What rules will be used for Flight Flag Football League?

    We will follow the USA Flag Football Rules. A copy of which can be found here.

Additional Information

Team fees - $1,250 for early registration on or before August 1. $1500 after August 1.

Divisions – All divisions will be grade-based and will have up to 10 teams. Teams will play all other teams within their division.

Grades – Kindergarten - 5th grade.

Coaches meeting – August 18 at 6:00 PM in the Downstairs Study Hall (below the Brentwood Academy upper school gym)

Jerseys and Flags: Red/white reversible jerseys and flags will be given to each team. Flags must be returned to Brentwood Academy upon the completion of the season.
