Service
Service at BA
arious service projects take place throughout the year and are the hands-on application of spiritual life. Students have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned about giving and caring for others. Students participate in service projects with their advisory groups on Joe Campbell Service Day and participate in the senior-led school wide service project.
Joe Campbell Service Days
October 14, 2020 and January 25, 2021Twice a year, all students and faculty participate in Joe Campbell Service Day. Students leave campus to serve in the community at nursing homes, inner city child-care centers, special education facilities, and other organizations committed to working with the underserved. Joe Campbell was a beloved faculty member whose life was characterized by his commitment to serve others.
School-wide Service Project
Each summer before school begins, the Senior class goes on a retreat and chooses the theme verse and service project for the upcoming year. The class chooses the project for the entire school and it serves as the focus for all fundraising and service for the year.
