Student Life
It's a Great Day at BA!
Student life at BA is centered around strong relationships and a close-knit community. Students, as well as parents, have multiple opportunities to get involved and support one another in extracurricular activities.
What is it like to be a Brentwood Academy student? The answer can be found on the faces of students engaged in all aspects of student life—learning both inside and outside the classrooms, visiting with friends in the hallways and around the campus, participating in athletic events as a team member or fan, sharing small and large group devotions and Bible study, or enjoying the varied fine arts opportunities.

Student Leadership Team
The Upper School SLT is a coed group of students from the 9th-12th grades. The SLT’s mission is to “serve as role models who live out the mission of the school, create leadership opportunities for others within the school, and facilitate action based on needs shared by the faculty and students.” The Student Leadership Team assists in leadership in other areas of the school, such as the Big Brother/Big Sister program and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 8th grade students are elected during the spring of the 7th grade year to serve on the Middle School SLT.
Student Ambassadors
The purpose of the Student Ambassador program is to promote Brentwood Academy through service to the Admission, Advancement, and College Counseling departments. Students gain valuable leadership skills serving as student hosts for groups visiting on campus and at events throughout the community. Upper school students who serve as Ambassadors undergo an application and interview process in the spring and are expected to serve throughout the school year.
