To the Glory of God
When Bill Brown established Brentwood Academy in 1969, he and the founding trustees envisioned a school that would emphasize the development of each student’s body, mind, and spirit, encouraging the cultivation of relationships, service and community outreach.
We seek to nurture the whole person — spiritually, intellectually and physically — so we work to ensure strong academics and challenging athletics prosper together in an environment where God is the foundation. To be effective, this model of education requires a spirit of cooperation rooted in wholesome relationships, which we strive toward cultivating every day.
Explore Unique Opportunities
College Counseling
True college preparedness starts long before senior year, so our educational workshops begin in 8th grade and continue through 12th, allowing students to engage in self-reflection, find their passions, develop their minds and take charge of their futures.
Christian Life
In addition to the programs and classes available, spiritual life at Brentwood Academy involves the classroom, the playing field, the band room, and the hallways. We believe that everything is spiritual and that Jesus Christ gives everything purpose. Every faculty and staff member has a personal, and growing relationship with Christ.
Winterim
Winterim is designed to challenge students to expand their knowledge beyond present experiences and to encourage a love of learning. This is accomplished by a small group of students working closely with a faculty member in various non-traditional experiential courses. Winterim provides opportunities to fulfill the school’s mission through exploration in academics, arts, outdoors, and athletics.
Robotics
The award-winning Brentwood Academy robotics program, the Iron Eagles, offers a unique opportunity for students to develop strong problem-solving skills and put their creativity into action in a way that benefits them both inside the classroom and beyond.
Student Support
The Student Support team at Brentwood Academy works collaboratively with BA teachers, coaches, and administrators to give our full support to each of our students personally and socially. In addition, we provide resources and partnering events to our BA families to provide a collective approach for meeting the needs of each whole student.
Fine Arts
At Brentwood Academy, we believe that each student has unique God-given talents and abilities, and we are committed to helping students discover and explore those gifts to their fullest potential. A dedicated fine arts faculty of 19 full-time and part-time instructors offer more than 30 visual and performing arts opportunities for our students.
