FINE ARTS AUDITION PROCESS

ACADEMY DANCERSAcademy Dancers hosts audition dates in the spring of each year to cast the Academy Dancers for the following school year. Email Academy Dancers Coach Robyne Kennedy for a tryout packet that includes an intent to audition page which is due back before tryouts. Attendance is mandatory for all dates listed. ACADEMY JUNIORSAcademy Juniors auditions are held before the school year begins and are open to all students in grades 6-8. Students who make the group will also be enrolled in chorus for the 2024-2025 school year. If your student signed up for another elective but would like to audition, we can change his or her elective choice to chorus, should he or she make the group. The audition process will have three components: solo, range testing, and part-singing. Follow the link below to sign-up for an audition slot. ACADEMY JUNIORS AUDITIONS:

ACADEMY SINGERSThe Academy Singers hold auditions in the spring to determine the singers for the following school year. A sight-reading audition sign-up sheet will be posted on the door of Mr. Wise's office (behind the Theatre) at the end of April. You must sign up for the sight-reading portion of your audition. THEATERBrentwood Academy produces three auditioned theater events each school year: the fall play, the middle school play (or musical), and the spring musical. Each of these shows has a separate audition process and casting needs. The fall play will hold auditions once students return to campus. The middle school production will host auditions later in the semester. The spring musical will hold auditions during the second semester. More information will be posted once audition times become finalized.
