OLIVIA LENTCHNER ’18

Olivia graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2021 with a degree in Marine Science. Olivia wrote, published, and illustrated a book called Ocean Stories. Olivia is currently working in northern Maine at Downeast Institute, a marine research institute/shellfish hatchery.

STEPHEN RICHARDS ‘09

Stephen is the owner and founder of Richards Bespoke clothier. Stephen has grown the company to be one of the most-respected men’s fashion brands in the country, winning numerous awards and obtaining some of the world’s highest-profile clients. Some of his highest accomplishments include designing and creating Patrick Mahomes’ ensemble for the 2019 & 2022 NFL Honors where he received the National Football League’s Most Valuable Player Award, Tua Tagovailo’s draft suit when he was selected 5th overall by the Miami Dolphins and many other customized garmets for high profile people.

VALERIE BATTLE KIENZLE ‘76

Valerie has authored nine books, with the latest, 100 Things To Do At The Lake of the Ozarks Before You Die. Valerie was the first girl to graduate from Brentwood Academy who had attended all six years (only grades 7-12 were offered). She went on to attend the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. She and her family own Beech Hill Farm in Williamson County. Valerie’s tenth book will be released in Spring 2024. “My love for writing began at BA when I was in the eighth grade. I was a reporter and later coeditor of The Talon and also part of the Aerie staff. BA’s publications have most definitely progressed since those early days! It’s wonderful to see how the school has grown and changed.  Keep up the great work!” - Valerie Battle Kienzle ‘76

GAVIN SCHOENWALD ‘18

Gavin graduated from Vanderbilt University and was named to the 2023 NFF Hampshire Honor Society. The Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers.

BRADY WILLIAMS ‘14

Brady received his Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) from Baylor University in May. His area of study was Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Additive Manufacturing Processes.  He was previously awarded his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in May 2019 and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering in August 2022 from the University of Alabama.  After receiving his PhD, Brady is living in Huntsville, AL and working as a Senior Engineer for the National Institute for Aviation Research.

TYLER STURGEON ‘04

Tyler was recently named Chief Financial Officer of Mercy Hospital South, a 767 bed facility owned by St. Louis based Mercy Health Systems. Tyler and his wife Elizabeth, who is an attorney, have two children Thompson, 5 and Lydia, 3.   Tyler is a CPA and graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in Accounting and where he also received his MBA.

KINGSLEY EAST GIBB ‘14

Kingsley is a Graduate of George W. Truett Theological Seminary, and was one of 14 seminary students chosen for the 2023 Seminary Program of the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE). FASPE provides a unique historical lens to engage graduate students in professional schools as well as early-stage practitioners in six fields (business, journalism, law, design & technology, medicine and seminary) in an intensive course of study focused on contemporary ethical issues in their professions. Kingsley serves as a youth minister at DaySpring Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. She also works for Truett Seminary’s Theology, Ecology, and Food Justice Program. Kingsley earned a BA in writing and rhetoric from Baylor University before completing her MDiv at Truett in 2021.
